You Could Even Say It Glows was the highly anticipated Christmas event organised by Destiny Impact on Christmas Eve, where impactors gathered to come and discover the true meaning of Christmas together. Impactors were told to come dressed in green or red and also to bring a gift worth at least two dollars.





As impactors entered the room, they were all given a green card with a number on it. When the event began, each impactor was randomly handed a yellow card with another number on it. They then had to find the person who held the green card with the same number and pass their gift to them. The gift exchange soon began as impactors walked around the room looking to find the people who they have to pass their gifts to as well as those whom they hope to receive from.



Following the gift exchange, there began a time of fun and games. Pass the parcel was one such game, where music would be played in the background as a parcel is passed around a huge circle. When the music stops, the person holding on the parcel would have to open it and follow the instructions written on it, usually a forfeit for the entire zone involving the YCESIG dance.



Another game played would be pin the nose on rudolf. The game comes with a twist, the blindfolded person is guided by two other people, one of whom speaks the truth of where rudolf's nose is while the other is a saboteur. Hilarity ensues as the two impactors fight for the attention of the confused blindfolded impactor who does not quite know who to listen to.



Neither gifts nor games were enough to capture the true spirit of Christmas however. As such, boss peixuan took the stage to deliver a short message, inclusive of a pop quiz and a truth vs myth section, about what Christmas is really all about.

Eventually, it is revealed that the true spirit of Christmas is indeed found in the birth of Christ, the coming of the Light of the world. As the lights were turned off, a lone candle is seen burning in a corner of the room, previously unnoticed by many impactors. The message is clear, in the darkness, even a small light can be seen. As Christ is the Light of the world, we are all called to be lights of the world as well. The mystery of what is it that glows is finally revealed, it is the impactors, who shine the light of Christ to the rest of the world.

Thats not the end though, impactors were treated to a sumptuous christmas eve meal, consisting of oversized fishballs, curry puffs, sardine puffs and chicken wings! In addition to that, the YCESIG team also baked delicious cupcakes for each and every single impactor!

Truly, YCESIG has shown all what Christmas really means. It is not simply about games and gifts, but in reality about the wonder of the incarnation of Jesus Christ.
