This week, Destiny Impact started on a new series,
Like Jesus, the Acts church turned the world upside down. (Acts 17:6)
They were willing to give their all to Jesus.
So what made them press on to be radical for Jesus?
It was further elaborated in the following point:
#1. Jesus left behind for His church The unfinished task.
that is, to be His witness to the world. (Acts 1:8)
and the time is NOW. not later, not tomorrow, not next week. For the harvest is ready! (John 4:35)
God has given us this great privilege to hear the Good News, so let us not keep
it to ourselves but share it with our friends! Don't keep quiet about what God has done in our lives and also, let us stop helping our friends to give excuses to not invite them to church.
However, living a radical life is not easy, we may face persecutions, trials, etc (just like what the Acts church faced), but Christ needs to be proclaimed and God will help us(Ephesians 6:19)! By calling and doing the Great Commission, we are expressing our love to Jesus. Since Jesus has offered up His life for us, let us offer our lives to Him as well!
Coca Cola Company has a huge dream. Their vision is that everyone around the world will hold a can of coke in their hands. A soft drink company can have such a huge dream, how much more should we think about the Gospel to reach to the ends of the Earth which God has called us to do?
Lastly, every single one of us has a mission field. Let us join hands with God to do the unfinished task!
Be radical and let's give our all to Jesus!
